1. New Tang Dynasty Will Appeal Eutelsat ruling 11.23.09: Last week a French court ruled that Falun Gong channel New Tang Dynasty TV could not appoint an expert to investigate why its channel lost carriage over Asia. Eutelsat say that their satellite suffered a technical problem.

Chinese Officials Indicted for Genocide 11.20.09: For committing the crime of genocide, the defendants face imprisonment for up to 20 years and may be economically liable to the victims for damages. Based on the magnitude of the crimes committed by the defendants, they are likely to face the maximum 20-year penalty for their crimes.

5. Swedish Politicians Rebuff Chinese Embassy's Threats 01.29.08: Swedish lawmakers expressed outrage at demands from China's Swedish embassy to stop a cultural show. 8. Deportation Results in a Three Year Labor Camp Sentence 05.03.05: As adherents of the peaceful meditation practice Falun Gong, the couple claimed they would face persecution in China. The judge found that there is no danger in China for them, so long as they practice the Falun Gong exercises at home. On April 9, the Judge’s opinion was refuted. In the northeastern city of Shenyang, Jiang Renzheng was condemned to three years in a labor camp and carried away to an unknown location. The charge was “endangering public security.” The true reason for the sentence was Jiang’s practice of Falun Gong.
